User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Affinity Plus extension ("Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law to use the Extension.

5. Accounts and Security

Some features (e.g., API key management) may require signing in via Clerk and generating or storing API credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding these credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal use in accordance with these Terms.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension.
  • Modify or create derivative works based on the Extension.
  • Use the Extension for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Extension or any servers/networks connected to it.
  • Bypass any security measures or exceed Affinity's authorized API usage.

7. Intellectual Property

All code, content, and materials within the Extension are owned by us. Affinity and Clerk are trademarks of their respective owners. The Extension is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Affinity.co.

8. User Content

If the Extension lets you input or display comments, notes, or other content, you retain ownership of that content. By submitting such content through the Extension, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it only as necessary to operate and provide the Extension's features.

9. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with third-party services such as Affinity's APIs, Clerk (for authentication), and our own backend services (e.g., a Cloudflare Worker for key storage). Your use of these third parties is subject to their respective terms and policies. We do not control third-party content or practices and are not responsible for them.

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Extension.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Extension or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Extension ceases immediately.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date accordingly. Your continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the Netherlands.
